Introduction: Why "Timeless"?
The author begins his four-year odyssey with this undeniable principle; To understand a people today, we must first understand its past.
In four years, he took thousands of photographs and conducted hundreds of interviews, to present the rich history, values and culture of Jews in eighteen communities across the United States, to answer a basic question;
How have the Jewish people been able to persevere and maintain their devotion to the Torah for over 350 years in a country replete with unparalleled freedom but equally replete with the most challenging of tests. What makes a people "timeless"?
